As Vice President, Global Research and Development, Thomas is responsible for all aspects of Asetek’s worldwide engineering and development operations across both desktop and data center segments. As a member of Asetek’s leadership team, his responsibilities include the evaluation of product requirements from the business segments to the engineering leadership for their design, planning, development and manufacturability.
Thomas has an extensive background in the management of engineering teams and product development in high tech competitive markets. He brings to Asetek a systems-level point of view with knowledge and experience from large Danish based global organizations. With more than 15 years of experience with Vestas and Grundfos, he has an intimate background in sophisticated pumping and cooling systems designed for global markets.
In his current role, he leads and manages the global Asetek R&D portfolio out of the Aalborg Denmark headquarters, overseeing teams situated in Denmark and China.
Thomas holds a M.Sc.EE degree from Aalborg University as well as an EMBA in Business Psychology from Business Institute in Aalborg.
